Warts and Verrucae are caused by the Human Papillomavirus infection (HPV). The most common appearance is that of a small cauliflower type growth on the sole of your foot, usually containing tiny black dots. Although verrucae are generally harmless, they can cause pain or discomfort when bearing weight, and can look unsightly.
To prevent spreading the verruca, avoid picking or scratching the affected area.
We offer Verrutop, a new type of wart treatment. Unlike cryotherapy or other chemical treatments, Verrutop does not act by freezing or burning the tissue. Instead, it denatures the viral protein and painlessly desiccates the wart tissue, which then falls off the skin, leaving intact skin underneath. Verrutop has a reported efficacy rate of 90% with an average of 3 sessions and a maximum of 6.
Multiple treatments may be required.
