How do they work

Sole Mates insoles are filled with a food grade glycerine, because you can't compress a fluid they won't flatten like foam or gel insoles and because fluid has no shape they will naturally mould to the shape of the foot. 

Arch Support

Sole Mates provide custom arch support while being gentle and comfortable for the foot.  When sole mates are worn the ball and heel of the foot force the glycerine into all the high, unsupported areas such as the arch, using your own weight to lift and support the arch giving you instant relief from Plantar Fasciitis, fallen arches and flat feet.

Cushioning

When you walk the force exerted on the foot is transferred to the fluid, pushing it backwards and forwards across the foot.  Acting like a shock absorber on a car it takes the pressure off the ankles, knees and hips.  Also beneficial in providing support and comfort for people wearing safety shoes or wellingtons.

Massaging

As the fluid moves forward and backward it provides a gentle massage to the muscles under the foot.  Massaging the muscles increase circulation.  This is beneficial to those with poor circulation and can help speed up recovery of injuries in the legs and feet
